Bobby Dead Body Character Designs

These are some pre-production character designs for a project I'm working on at the moment. His name is Bobby and he's dead. Let me know yay or nay which ones you like/hate, I can take it.

"Laurie" goes to New York!

Fresh from his success at Galway and screening at the Lighthouse, "Laurie" was kindly invited over to the "Craicfest" in New York City, and shown at the Tribeca Cinema over there. A friend of mine (or rather me ma's friend) was at it and told me the New York crowd laughed in the right places too. She is a trustworthy sort so I have no reason to doubt her, although she has been known to whet her whistle with a nip o' whiskey on her way to the dog tracks on Sunday mornings.

You can read the ridiculously nice comments about the film in this New York paper here:

"Laurie & the Litterbugs" on in the Lighthouse Cinema, Smithfield

The good folks at Filmbase put on a night in the Lighthouse Cinema in Dublin for all the winners (and runner ups) from Galway. "Laurie" was shown and I'm absolutely delira because there's nothing better than watching one of your own films in your favourite cinema. On the biggest screen no less! Much love to the crowd who laughed at all the right parts.

"Laurie & the Litterbugs" receives "Honourable Mention" at Galway Film Fleadh 2010

Okay it's been a while since my last post so I'm just catching up now. My film "Laurie & the Litterbugs" got an honourable mention at the Galway Film Fleadh this year. A lot of films were shown and were of a really high standard so to get anything was great. Fair play to Mark Aristizabal, Colm Griffin and Shane Collins for all their hard work on the film.
